Check the coolant level, if the tank is blocked, and if there are any cracks, damages and leaks on the piping;
Check tension of the drive belt, and if there are any cracks on the belt; visual check if the cooling fan has any cracks, loose rivets, bend or loose blades. Check the fan to make sure it is securely mounted;
Use the specified organic long life coolant of DCEC year round;
Notes
Nonuse of engine coolant or use of incorrect coolant will cause failures such as the engine water-jacket rusts and blocks, the engine is hot, power derates, drawing cylinder and liner pitting, which will increase cost of repair and reduce engine's service life.
